Abstract

This paper presents a proposal for a methodology to investigate the information content of meat product labels, which are found on the Romanian market. The analysis was performed taking into account the information requirements of European Legislation in the field, respectively the rules 432/2012, 1169/2011, 1333/2008, 1924/2006. 193 meat products were analyzed and the results show that only 20,21% of them fulfils all of requirements.
